Some flats still suffer from interrupted gas supply by the National Grid since the 19th of June 2017. Tomorrow, it will be 33 consecutive days of interrupted gas supply and therefore, after tomorrow, each affected household will be entitled to the maximum £1000 compensation from the National Grid.
However, the situation seems quite grim as there is no indication of when the gas will be reconnected and there is a possibility that the situation may drag for even longer than another month.
We are expecting an update from the National Grid any day as promised. Please do not hesitate to contact them, report the problem and ask for updates individually too. This will increase the pressure to prioritise the repairs needed.
